Change we can believe in...no shit!
Hey! Politicians...we've seen and had enough of your Washington bull shit to start a profitable bull shit business for politicians. And let's face it, if you could buy back your old bull shit you'd save time stumbling over your tongue trying to conjure up more bull shit. Hell, you Washington politicos spew so much bull shit you wouldn't be able to remember if your purchased verbal crap was reconstituted, regurgitated, new and improved or deviously clever and worth another go 'round. The best part is that we honest, patriotic and responsible citizens would finally get something for all your bull shit - namely money. I mean, you don't think we'd sell it back to you for free do you?
Maybe, we the citizens of this land -"home of the brave and land of the free" - could even trade this political bull shit on Wall Street. It seems to me there is a lack of serious bull shit trading going. In fact, unlike all those SIV's, derivatives and other worthless monkey dung you Wall Streeters have been playing with, political bull shit is a real item. Maybe it could be classified as a commodity or something. Where else but on Wall Street could you and your bought and paid for politicians find a use for shit. It's better than those derivatives and you know it. At least we could easily recognize that shit without having to be lied to about it by Sunday morning talking heads.
If political bull shit was worth money you folks in DC wouldn't be flushing your shit away. You'd be bagging and tagging it for a fecal stimulus program. Imagine,
a bag of fresh Pelosi or Harry Reid bull shit could go for big bucks while that of a Bohner (prononced "boner" - like a cialis induced woody) would trade at the margins of AAA bull shit and A bull shit. There's just too much Republican bull shit for it to have real value. After all, republicans come full of shit to begin with. Anyway, history proves that politicians can sell just about anything - remember the Rumfeld's bird flu vaccine? Before you know it, the general population might be able to trade all that political bull shit for a handsome profit on Wall Street. What did George Bush do with all the shit he bagged on those foreign visits? Is he holding on to it until there is a market for his bull shit?
On the other hand, you Wall Streeters and politicians would probably end up gutting the "golden goose" for a quick buck by producing artificial shortages of bull shit. Just as some of us dive into the bull shit market you'd dump all your bull shit and leave us holding worthless bags of bull shit. But isn't it always that way.
The change "we the people" need [to believe in], is a change of government - long over due. It's true that corporate, American media and the political establishment couldn't give a shit for rank and file citizens. We are, in their minds, the "great unwashed" to quote George Will of ABC or "Joe and Mary Six Pack" as Tom Delay routinely quipped or "John and Mary Lunchbucket" a la Dick Armey. All dismissive and disparaging terms, mind you, to convey their hostility and disdaine towards the people who built this country and protect it from foreign enemies. Conservatives, just a steaming pile of media wonks, politicos and other anti-American turd burgers who have set the tone in Washington. Boy, are we ever in deep shit.
Now, if only "we the people" could understand that enemies of this nation are not always foreign.
